No More Stress Headaches!

I am very pleased with this pillow. It does have a very brisk massage action, but is exactly what I needed for my neck and upper back. I have stopped going to the chiropractor and the massage therapist in his office. I have had no heavy migraines since beginning to use the pillow. I use the pillow every other day at least, since I have a profound tension problem due to my posture. Using the skills I’ve learned from the chiropractor’s office, along with frequent massage (20 minutes at a time – every day to every other day), I have found my answer!
I would recommend this for anyone needing deep massage. You can position the pillow on the lower back or other problem areas as needed. All Stars!

This one is ok for your back but the older model was better for your neck. This one moves too much, the older one rotated in one direction and in the other direction only. The heating element is nice but it’s hard to feel since it moves too much and you can’t keep it on the needed spot.
Great neck massager

I bought this product to help loosen tight muscles in my neck and it does the job. The heat feature really doesn’t work all that great and takes a long time to get slightly warm. The padding on the lower part of the pillow should be thicker. I can feel the motor stabbing me in the back, but I just use a small pillow to correct this situation. For the money you can’t go wrong. I use it just about every evening and it does help with my tension headaches.

I have a Shiatsu cushion, and I wanted something that would massage my upper shoulders and neck. This pillow works just fine. I just place it where I want it. I like the heat, too. No complaints here.
Stopped Working

I was so excited to get this massage pillow and when I got it home and used it I absolutely loved it! This pillow was exactly what my aching back needed. The problem is the pillow stopped working the same day I brought it home – I see several other people have had this problem as well. It is really a shame because it was great while it lasted (even if only for a short while!).

I do really enjoy this massage pillow. It is very versatile for shoulders, neck and back and works great against the back of a chair. I occasionally get a crick in my neck and this works it out wonderfully. Definitely recommended.

I gave as a gift. The pillow seems to work when needed. Not very comfortable to keep in chair as a pillow to lean against. Very effective when vibration is needed to ease the pain.

This is a great product for the entire back and neck. The heat is a bonus. The pillow is flexible so that it can cover the hard to reach areas. I use it when I am working at my computer at home. I was looking for something like this but my husband found this for me.

I tried it out at my friend’s house so I already knew what I was going to get. Even so, I was surprised at how intense it was. I need to wear a sweatshirt or put a blanket between me and the pillow, otherwise it pounds too hard. Still glad I purchased it.

I actually expected that this pillow would provide a wimpy little amount of massage but I ordered it as an additional lumbar support pillow for my home office chair. Much to my surprise the pillow works well and in all areas of the back and neck. The pillow is very soft, convenient and works very well to relieve minor aches and pains. The heat is an added bonus and it really does heat up nicely. I read a few of the reviews that talked about this pillow malfunctioning and “eating itself” but I would imagine that this would only happen if instructions are not followed….such as the amount of time you use the pillow, or even excessive weight or folding of the mechanism inside. I highly recommend it for the price, convenience and performance.

Have an awful back. This does help the knots better than everything else I have tried except the neuromuscular stimulater and that requires someone to help put the electrodes on me. I take it when I give blood which is often and keep it working for the two hours I am there. Sort of a good reward for a good deed. I think they should use them for everyone.

I love this pillow. My wife loves this pillow. Anyone who uses our pillow loves it and wants one. The only downside is that it feels so darn good that you can bruise yourself massaging your muscles too much.
I love that it can be used in so many ways. I’ve used it to great effect on my neck, shoulders, calves, feet, lumbar and hamstrings. Just place the pillow where you want it and lean into it….aahhhh. The heat feature is also nice an appreciated.
Pair this with a “BodyBackBuddy” and you’re going to be happy. Self-massage the easy way. Highly recommended.

I was considering this or the full massage seat (not the reclining chair) that you find in car service waiting rooms. I’m glad I bought this pillow. Do not think for a second, you will not regret this purchase.
Pros: Its smaller in size and adjustable to any angle and anywhere you want it. The heat works really good and I have seen major improvements in healing centuries old back muscle pain. It digs in and finds pain where I never thought existed. It is always near us when watching TV or movies. I love it especially because unlike my wife (and me)it doesn’t tell us “I’m tired”, “can I stop?” Hehehe.
Cons: One and only con I found was if you want to hit a deep spot or put much pressure on an area the motor grinds and stops. So for those stubborn spots I use Thera Cane, it does wonders.

Got this for her for the holidays. This thing is made well and I love the idea but it is not what I wanted. It is a pillow that will massage and heat. The down side is it is filled with plastic hard boxes to encase the mechanics of the unit. These hard areas hit your body when you are using this product making it much less enjoyable. I would equate it to laying on blanketed lego’s while getting a massage. For the money it is ok and so I would expect to get what you pay for on this one.

I bought one for my husband for Christmas- we all loved it. In fact, I quickly ordered one for my daughter for our delayed Christmas with her! Relaxing, love the kneading motion and warmth. Would definately get again. My husband uses it every day. Said it was the best gift he has gotten in years!

I bought this because of a recommendation from a friend. I’m 6 months pregnant and my back, neck, hips, and everything are killing me. After turning this Shiatzu Massaging pillow on, I put it on my sciatic area, felt GREAT, my lower back, AWESOME, middle back, STILL awesome, and even on my upper back (did great on my shoulderblades) and my neck was awesome. The different sized knobs on the pillow are perfect for anywhere you want to put this thing. I can even put it underneath my thighs and it feels so good. This is definitly worth its weight in gold!

My daughter bought this for me for my birthday which is the day after Christmas. I use it every day on all parts of my body such as neck, back, shoulders, head, feet…you name it…it is GREAT and portable so you can take it with you! She is the BEST!!
I thought it was going to suck but…. it’s GREAT!!
I literally felt those knots popping back and forth (in a good way) and eventually (less than 20 minutes), I was feeling relaxed and my back was no longer a mass of knotted, tight muscles but more like jello! (okay, maybe I need to workout now, lol)

I asked for a Homedics percussion handheld massager for Christmas but instead, I recieved this. I was really dissapointed and thought it wasn’t going to help pinpoint the problem areas on my back. I get these knots in my muscles in various places – between my shoulder blades and on my neck and shoulders. I thought this pillow was going to be a waste of a good gift BUT… I tried it anyway because my muscles were aching. It was AMAZING! I was suprised, you can actually put the pillow wherever you need it, I thought this would work only for upper back, but I was able to shift it around and lean back on it. Letting the pillow knead my muscles. It was really strong too, I had to do as the directions suggest and place a towel over it to make the massage action a little softer for my whimpiness.
Bottom line: it was awesome! It’s far more versatile as far as location than I thought it would be. And it’s powerful! And most of all…. effective!!

After having whiplash from a speeder in 2005 and trying other products, I got this in 2007. Whenever I have knots, spasms, severe neck fatigue and pain with migraines, this is the only thing that helps me. The heat really works and it gets nice and hot. The massage technique, though not as good as my sons strong hands, is really good and works out the problems always. You will be sore the next day after using this if you use it longer than directed which I often do because it feels so good!

This was a Christmas gift from my daughter. I’ve tried everything out there for my missing disc (crushed nerve root L5-S1) and 3 bulging discs from Ankylosing Spondylitis, DDD and OA. This is NOT one of those funky vibrating pillows. It has very solid balls that rotate over the area you place it on. Sits perfectly against the lumbar in my office chair but I have also used it on neck, bulging disc at T3, and on my arthritic hands. Whatever having it with the additional heat costs – pay it! It is just the right temp and you can feel it through clothes. If I were rich, I’d hand these things out at my monthly Pain Clinic appointment! Can you tell I love it!!!

I just got this little pillow for my wife as a Christmas present and she loved it. I do too:-) We both enjoy a good massage and this little pillow packs some massage power. I think this pillow will make a nice compliment to the SMB-300H, which my wife will receive on Christmas day. shhhhhh. The nice thing about a pillow is that you can move it around and hit the spots that are really sore and you can take it with you when you travel. Like any massage mechanism, their is a mechanical sound when in use, but that was expected and doesn’t ruin the experience. It comes with a long chord so that you have room to move the pillow around. I recommend it and as usual, Amazon got it here fast!

. Bottom line- great deal, and so far the message pretty much exceeded my expectations! I was expecting for it to be returned the same day- after plugging it in and getting what I thought would be a cheap, lackluster message; but I’m finding as I get used to it more and more, it gets better and makes my very sore upper back area feel a good deal of relief! Even if I ended up paying what should of been $38, this same unit at a place like Brookstone would easily be $70+. The overall quality of the unit is WAY superior to the price. My only hope is it doesnt break in a few months lol. Whenever I buy any kind of electronic item, I always check Amazon and other sites to see what the ratings are. Luckily the reviews on here and Wal-Mart’s site were mainly 4-5 stars out of 5 this, so I was very pleasantly surprised and think this is a keeper! I give it a 5 star rating for the PRICE and quality so far; but overall I give it a 4 due to just getting it today and also tending to like a massager that scrolls up and down- opposed to one that’s stagnant. Will say – in 6 months if it gives me the same kind of satisfaction and doesn’t break or slow up, I’d give it a 5.

I love this pillow. I work as 911 dispatcher and have problems with my neck and shoulders…I’ve tried other types of massagers but this one is by far the most effective. It is portable…so easy to bring to work…and the rolling ball mechanism is heaven. I haven’t had the problem others have mentioned about the fabric getting stuck in the mechanism…and hope that I don’t…regardless…I feel the benefit I’ve received from this item has already outweighed the cost…so wouldn’t complain about just replacing it.

It feels like a real massage when you position it on the right place on your body. The rotating balls work deep into your muscles. Try using it upside down too so the balls rotate in the opposite direction. Feels good on your legs, hands and feet too.

This is the equivalent to having a masseur living with you… someone who will massage your shoulders or anyplace else you desire. The best thing is it never gets tired or complaints.
It helps to cushion the deep massaging by using a folded towel as I am old and not as tough as I once was.
I would have given this unit a 5 star rating if not for the fact it makes a mechanical noise that troubles me. It sounds like it might wear out prematurely. But bottom line… if it lasts for at least 6 months, it will have been worth the purchase price to me.
